It's time to take this into high gear---send emails to friends, gun ranges, IM, etc having them contact Reps, Senators and house leaders to reject this nonsense NOW!

    first they came for NJ...

probably should stopped them "b.a.m.n." then.

should we take solace in the fact that it's mostly republican bills they're passing? sadly it's not constitutional carry or switching to nics or any other great bills. it's also not background ammo checks only "universal background" checks.
yeah... no humor to be had here. they're in a mad rush to push everything through at the end, after weeks of little work, whoosh 60 actions in a day.

It appears the "meat" of the Bill (amended) are pages 6 and 7. I'm not a lawyer, but it appears everything [still] has to go through the courts? Could someone that's better at this "law mumbo jumbo" chime in?

    Done. Rep. Grove.

Pleas take a stand and make sure HB2227 that was approved yesterday and all other gun control bills being considered right now are not even brought up for a vote. We must withstand the pressure from the gun control proponents and retain our freedoms here in Pennsylvania. Thanks for your commitment to the issue, I know I can count on you.

    Please block HB 273, HB 1400, HB 1872, HB 2060, HB 2227, HB 2266 , HB 2267, HB 2275

VOTE FOR HB 2463 but AGAINST the proposed amendments (A07403 and A07614)

My guy, Grove is a co-sponsor on HB2275. He's usualyy solidly pro-gun, even holds concealed carry workshops.

What's this bill doing exactly? I asked him to vote against his own bill nonetheless.

HB 2275 (Grove/Briggs) amends the Crimes Code to rectify a 2011 ruling by the PA Supreme Court which held that the prior conviction offenses that prohibit a person from possessing, transferring, or using a firearm do not include an attempt, conspiracy or solicitation to commit those same crimes. There is one amendment, A07610, which is technical.
