Mossberg 500 shockwave part.
I was cleaning my shockwave today and this tiny little piece fell out of the receiver. Its flat on one side and round on the other. Maybe 1/4" long at most. Anybody have an idea what it belongs to?
Thanks!IMG_20180610_224626.jpg

Was it accompanied by a spring? Looks like a pin that is usually pushed by a spring to hold something in place. A locking pin of some sort. What is not staying where it should?

Could that be a guide for the receiver? The round end rides in a groove. I cant read the schematic clearly.

Its got to be that elevator stud. 500s don't have anything that looks like that pin. Should see a hole on one side or the other on the receiver. Might be able to stake it back in.

Ok. So you are saying on the rear side of the elevator assembly?
