I also love my ruger wheel guns One had to be sent back for sight adjustment as a gp100 3” no adjustable sights - fixed somewhat acceptable but not perfect. My gp100 6” is one of my favorite guns more than my S&W 686 4”!

No such problems with mine. 350+ rounds of various types of ammunition: surplus and commercial fmj, xtp's, hp's and 40 rounds of Leghigh monlithic Xtreme Penetrators. I won't be cleaning it until I get to 500 rounds.

If after next range trip. I ordered a grip to try also, if it is still acting up. It will go to ruger for sure so annoying ... these things should just run! Wish there was a teeny Glock .

If you've got big hands, I can see how it might contribute a kind limp-wrist effect (without acrtually limp wristing). Or how large hands and calloused skin might interfere with the slide.

The grip extenders work great for accuracy. My groups ( @ 7 yards) open up about an inch to two inches without the grip extenders.

There is it's called the 42 and it had a ton of issues upon its initial release. Pocket pistols are a whole different animal and the LCP is pretty much the best there is. Put a few different brands of decent ammunition through it and if there is still an issue send it to Ruger, they will and ways make it right.

Federal fmj’s work for all my guns (in 9mm) I have small hands so I have a decent hold on it although not the best as so small. Thats why a hogue handall will tell me if it’s me or the gun - I believe it’s the gun though

I hope you get it sorted. My lcp2 has never failed. I'm sure Ruger will take care of you.

My LCP II works great. It spend many months in a pocket in my back pack but when I took it out it worked great at the range. I have shot several different types of ammo in it and mine is just now getting to the broken in stage. And it has yet to be cleaned or polished. I love this little gun.
