LTCF -RENEWAL MONROE COUNTY

Took the wife down to Courthouse today to renew LTCF,they said to her do you want to wait,We will do the PICs right now ! Sure and 5 minutes later wife walked out with her LTCF ! KUDOs to staff for being so accomodating saving her a trip back later in a week !

Wow, that's new. It's always been just like a first-time app. going through the whole process over and over. Nice change.

Just got back from the courthouse, no request for tax form, DD214 and I received my LTCF in 5 minutes. The young lady behind the desk was courteous and fast. She did my background check right then. I don't know what happened to make this change but its great.

Yes the process is much improved, mine went the same way this past September.

Yes, I actually had to ask the young lady you mean right now when she said it would be ready after the background check, I am not complaining but what use is references at this point. I am hoping that 2024 goes as smooth if we even have them by then.

I think my LTCF expires this year. Any chance Monroe County will let me renew mine now that I'm not longer a PA resident? That will be the real test if they're actually (finally) following the rules.
