Sheer stupidity is what you want from a deathwish movie.

....not that I'm aware of but I wouldn't mind a remake of Hard Times.

That's ironic, seeing how CB was the one digging the tunnel in The Great Escape, and developed claustrophobia in the movie as well.

CB was perfect in the original death wish, and although I haven't seen the new one, I'm burned out on new movies with no originality. Every movie these days is a remake, a story from a book, a comic book, a remake of a comic book movie, etc. It's pretty rare when a rehashed movie comes out and I enjoy it enough to watch it more than once.

I went and saw it only because I had a gift card. It was....passable, shall we say. I'm glad I didn't pay for it although it did give me something to do on an otherwise boring Saturday night. But if you're hoping to see the equivalent of Bronson shooting The Giggler in the back with a Wildey, you'll be disappointed.

I liked the CB movies but am not interested in going to see a BW movie. For one, I doubt that it could compare to the older ones and for two, I know some people who have had to deal with BW and they report that he is a royal asshole.

Speaking of remakes. Is the Rock's "Skyscraper" a remake of Willis' "Die Hard"? Seems like.

I don't know about his conduct on the set. However he did make some pro second amendment comments in the past.

In my opinion death wish 3 is when the death wish Sequels jumped the shark.
