Learned a long time ago to have all accounts/ID's/licenses with the same name. It just makes everything easier.

Not gonna bust on ya too hard, but I'm pretty sure that ammendy doohickey says shall not be infringed..I may have misinterpreted it though.

Many institutions/corporations refuse to include my Jr. (Junior) and my son's III. Blue Cross, bank cards, et al. It has caused unnecessary problems while they save pennies per person.

I am a III, and Dad is Jr. When I lived at home in my early college days, we had the same motorcycle insurance company (separate policies). Mine cost about 3x what his did (bigger bike, younger rider, etc.).

I sent in my annual premium check - with the account number clearly written in the note field - but got a cancellation notice shortly after.

They had applied my payment to his account (moving his expiration date to almost 4 years in the future) and cancelled me. When I finally got a human to explain what happened, I told them to just apply the payment appropriately and reinstate my policy. I was told they weren't taking any new policies. I forget how many people I had to talk to before they figured out that my 2-year-old policy was still in their system (or they wouldn't have been able to send me a notice) and simply apply the renewal.

    Sounds like Allstate Insurance.
IANAL. I don't give legal advice. I'm only stating my OPINION.
(Did I really need to say that on an Internet forum? LOL)

Honestly, the problem here is that you asked. Don't create problems where they don't already exist. Just fill out your application and let them deal with it. As far as what they like; who gives a shit? Tell them to like in one hand and shit in the other.

Look at it from their point of view. They want to keep the streets, and the children, safe.
