Nope but some of that stuff somehow makes it back to the streets too.I'm thinking that those vintage pieces were pilfered from homes or possibly a shop.I know of one place that has tons of old guns like those.

Stolen most likely. Cheap "throw away's" are always popular.

Bottom left is 2 old old colt DA models. One looks like a 32 (bottom) and the other looks like a 38 military model with replaced grips (looks like a swivel at the bottom of the frame).

    Pretty pathetic "junk-on-a-bunk" display.

The brightest topbreak is a H&R 999 Sportsman.

I cant see the others well enough to tell what they are.

To criminals , a gun is just a gun. Gunshop by me got robbed years ago. This guy specialized in high-end collector stuff. Colt SAAs and commeratives , Lugers , vintage S&Ws , military collectables. The thieves just threw everything in a duffle bag. When an Artillery Luger was recovered , the barrel was cut off just aft of the tangent rear sight.

Yes, but WW II versions were mostly 38/200 which is 38 S&W (not special) which is not all that great.

The only really interesting one is the tokarev, which appears to be some kind of compact frame variant with a full size slide and magazine.
