    People leaving Cali, so what?

What do you think happened at the beginning of the 20th century, and where did those people come from?

If this chart is correct, what do you think will happen to PA?

So this arrest makes him a real life Frito Bandito?

What really sucks about the whole situation is that this guy's entire life, business, and family farm legacy are just gone if he wants to leave Commiefornia. It would be very difficult to start over in another state. What other state has the same or similiar year-round growing season, and less restrictive gun laws??
He tried to conform to their oppressive gun laws, and gets arrested anyways for trying to do what they wanted.
Idaho, they also grow potatoes in PA and I'm sure there are other states that grow potatoes.

Most large companies have north and south locations such as North Dakota for summer growing and Texas and Florida for winter growing. I actually toured another large Frito Lay supplier in North Dakota.

Taters can grow in a lot of places but they are generally confined to areas with sandy soil. I don't know if the taters need sandy soil to grow but the way they are harvested, rocks in the soil will tear them up and sand is easier for the harvesting equipment to handle. As is the case with Vidalia onions, soil and climate play a big part in the quality of the spud. Idaho's are large, thick skinned brown spuds. Long Island spuds are smaller, thin skinned and the meat is more yellow in color over the Idaho spud. And if you want to see some impressive tater operations visit Canada's Prince Edward Island, they have thousand acre tater farms with fleets of identical tractors to work the fields. Their taters resemble an Idaho spud but I think that they are bigger. US and Canada have engaged in spud trade wars over the years, ours on their spuds, theirs on our potato chips, I found humor in it.

I've met the guy through work a couple of years back.

    Unfortunate.

He seemed pretty down to earth.

If you have a semiautomatic, centerfire rifle (AR-15) WITHOUT a fixed magazine and the rifle has ANY of the following, YOU ARE NOT COMPLIANT with the current law.

Pistol grip that protrudes beneath the action of the weapon
    Thumbhole stock
    Folding or telescoping stock
    Grenade launcher or flare launcher
    Flash suppressor
    Forward pistol grip
If you have an AR-15 WITH a fixed magazine and it has ANY of the following, you will need to register the firearm or you will be non-compliant.

Fixed magazine with a capacity to accept more than 10 rounds
Overall length is less than 30 inches
In most cases, a standard AR-15 acquired prior to 2017 will have one or more of the aforementioned attributes. Again, according to our research, you will NOT be compliant and MUST register the firearm with the ATF in California.
So basically they now allow only one "evil feature." However, does this make a yugo sks and hipoint carbines noncompliant?

12 felonies? That guy and the state of California just helped a lot of people in California who are one the edge about whether or not they should register make up their minds.

I imagine a lot of gun owners who were considering registering are looking at this and saying “hell no California”. That’s a hidden plus for gun owners in that it will be harder for California to confiscate rifles when they come up with their next reason why people should not have them.
