What year was my glock 23 born?***UPDATE***

Called Glock and I was told that the gun was manufactured on 3/4/1996 and shipped to a law enforcement agency in PA on 3/21/1997. They wouldn’t tell me which agency.
It looks like they had it up to recently because the gun still has glue marking for labels on both sides and the top of the slide. I am not sure which agency would label their guns.

I just aquired a glock 23 and I believe gen 2 maybe, with serial number BUB921US and, after trying just about every venue on line, I still don’t know when and where it was produced. Is anyone here capable of finding this info for me? I am trying to get some history on the gun. I appreciate it if you could.

Looks to be a 1996.

I dated mine using that list and Glock customer support confirmed they were wrong at least for me.

Thank you everybody for your help. Now I am going to try to locate which agency bought it.

Each gun comes with a fired shell casing indicating the firing date. Pretty close.
