“I see nothing wrong with acting locally,” Coles said.
It's called Preemption, darlin'. Stop wasting my tax dollars on something you are legally barred from doing.

Sounds like people are getting tired of this virtue signalling nonsense.

It is just political grandstanding. Politicians LIVE to get their name, and face out there. Yes, I know you know that.

Since we're all now apparently free to ignore any laws we don't like.

I may be drafting my personal "sanctuary home" rules. Although my boro hasn't done anything really stupid lately, with the exception of some inane traffic changes so that our busiest road is being narrowed down to one lane to allow more on-street parking for the local influential small businesses. Evidently there's some sort of competition for "worst traffic spot in town" and every block wants in on it.

Seriously, they could make driver's ed films here.
I may be misinterpreting this, but be careful. There is a huge difference between 'disobeying laws we don't like' and 'disobeying tyranny'.

problem is, it's the victor who gets to decide if it was tyranny or not.

These people aren't stupid, they are testing the waters. If by broadcasting this plan, they get overwhelming support, it will give them more emphasis to try their agenda on a larger scale. With the ultimate outcome of introducing a Bill in Harrisburg.

It's kinda like the question, how do you eat an elephant? The answer, one bite at a time.

Be wary of stupid resolutions because they may become stupid laws in a very short time.

Chitwood is SO anti, that when he was a Philadelphia Homicide Detective, he didn’t even carry a firearm.
