Re: made a mistake on LTCF app/interview(Philadelphia pa)
They do not have autonomy. That is just plain not true. They do have some differences in exercising your right. The application process is supposed to be the same. They require some things that the law does not allow for, that is true for other counties as well. They are a county just the same as any other county, the only difference is they have no other cities in their county.
Some people just plain suck.
If you're gonna be dumb ya gotta be tough.

Re: made a mistake on LTCF app/interview(Philadelphia pa)
Philadelphia got sued in a class action lawsuit. Before this suit Phila county appliers had to provide references along with the soc sec numbers of references https://blog.princelaw.com/.../settl...suit-regarding... and if I'm not mistaken on this when you were denied the LTCF and appealed the appeal info became public on a website belonging to the city court system. the lawsuit is very searchable...this is a blog post that is a great read. https://princelaw.files.wordpress.co...nt-redacted.pd...
If I got it right after reading and trying to understand all that the suit settled on they are not allowed to run that site anymore or allow applicants personal info to become public record, also they are not allowed to ask for references to that degree anymore.
Ill keep repeating myself till I goto the grave, that they forced me to reveal my so sec number when it clearly states that i did not have to. Something that was horrifying for me cause I had my soc sec number used in the past fraudulently.
Thanks for everyones great replies and input on this
God Bless Y'all

Re: made a mistake on LTCF app/interview(Philadelphia pa)
the website was removed/shut down where the public info was being displayed after appeals were filed it was shut down due to a class action lawsuit taken against the city gun permit unit.

The 2nd amendment is a conditional right in Philadelphia. You must meet their conditions in order to exercise your rights. That's they way the founders meant it to be, having a government official approve of your rights.
Corruption is the default behavior of government officials. JPC
