the thing is, schools are designed differently these days. i grew up in philly and the schools that i went to had bars on the first floor and some didnt even have classrooms on the first floors. we had 2 ways in/out. my high school had a fence around the yard and second entrance that got locked at 9am or something forcing everybody to then use the main entrance if they wanted to get in or out.

They should their way in. What's a metal detector gonna do? He is not trying to hide anything at that point.

then the alarm is raised and classrooms can be locked down. id rather have him start shooting at the front door rather than make it deep into the school.

They will just shoot the kids in line for the search...........then the lunch lady in charge. Then they can walk the short distance to the kids in classes.

Short of a fully armed staff, a Swat team, or fully armed military personnel stationed at every public school in America it will do no good.

Then we will have school BUS shootings.

Its the fucked up kids and the media glorifying this.

Urban areas are big on street crime but low on school mass shootings. I assume because of metal detectors and Leo presence.
