I heard up to 1500 students in the school. That is a lot of back packs to check. Then you have the entire school and God knows how many rooms. Searches like this are very slow and methodical.

Handguns certainly have one primary purpose, which is to protect the law-abiding from the criminals.

Did we get rid of all the criminals when I wasn't looking? I thought we still had criminals. I thought that innocent law-abiding people were still being mugged and raped and kidnapped and molested and beaten and stabbed and strangled, that criminals were still breaking into homes and carjacking folks and acting out insane fantasies.

WTF is wrong with these people?! When I was a kid, everybody had guns and no school shootings. What changed? I blame video games (and parents). We had Pong, not the seek-and-destroy games of today. Why isn't somebody looking at the reason instead of working so hard to take OUR guns? I've had a gun and ammo in my bedroom since I was 9yrs old (50 yrs) and never shot anybody. We can't even volunteer to keep an eye on our local schools because of the damn Gun-Free Zone bullshit. Instead of grief counselors, they should have mental screenings in schools. Something has to be preemptive beside 2A infringement. When their is a murderer, should he get punished or should we punish everybody in the community? Same thing here, with punishing us for somebody else's illegal activity.

This is part of what a post-Christian society looks like. We have been running off the fumes of Christianity for a while but they are pretty much used up. The thing that will fix this problem is a revitalization of true virtue in this country. Or, to put it another way, a resurgence of Christianity.

I'm sure long coats will be banned in schools as well after this. From all the "flair" on his coat, he certainly preferred a dark path - although the cthulhu did surprise me - didn't think anyone read Lovecraft anymore.
