All of those states in that list have the highest crime rates despite their communist efforts to ban freedom and infringe on 2nd amendment rights.

All these (crap) restrictions are why I got a.45 ACP HK 45c with 8 (and 10) round magazines and have Hornady (NJ) compliant ammo. (I have a Connecticut permit)

    Annoying as hell...

    I would unload the magazines.........

You should also go to the dollar store and buy the 3 for a dollar "locks". Attach them to your gun case or to the zippers of any bags containing firearms or ammo. A lot of states require a "locked" case for transporting. They don't specify what kind of lock even if it is a POS.

I’m not writing this as an endorsement. I joined Texas law shield at mom mall gun show. One of the things that they will do for you is write up a letter of all the laws and what you need to do for every state in your trip. They ask for two weeks advanced notice. I haven’t used it yet. Reminded me of aaa road maps for trips when he talked about it at the law seminar.

Bravo30, you only have a Florida license? You know that’s not good enough for a Pa resident in Pa. thanks to Democrats in attorney general office in Harrisburg.

    I apologize, completely forgot.

Your wife has PA/FL, you FL. Wifey has more freedom than you.

Assuming your going to take PA TPKE towards Pittsburgh then jumping on 70 into OH. 70 will put you into the lower half of ILL, you won't be affected
with mag restrictions, they are all up north in Cook County. Wife can have a loaded pistol on her in ILL "in vehicle" only (keep in console or glove box). You don't have a PA LTCF (assuming you have PA drivers license) In vehicle ILL, you have to have a LTCF/CCW from your resident state.

Going west from there, wife is good in CO, your are not. CO only recognizes resident permits. CO has 15 rd mag limits

Stay out of CA, OR and WA none of your permits are valid there

Get an APP for your phone, it's called CCW. Great little tool for $1.99 updates every month for new laws.

    Just a quick overview.
