Ruger Mark 4
IF you buy the Ruger mark 4, and you don't have hands like a grizzly bear paw, consider buying one of those finger charging rings. The slide snaps back so fast that I have skin missing and black and blue marks on both hands.
They're all about $50 which I think is outrageous. And then they put sand in a Vaseline and charge you eight bucks for shipping and handling.

Re: Ruger Mark 4
I'm seriously thinking about getting one for my Mark III 22/45. I was debating which one when I saw this guy posted somewhere else by the creator.

It's 3D printed, but supposedly works pretty well. Worth a try you think?I just love shooting.

I have the Mark III's and you really need to be careful as it is a small bolt - not much to grab either... I didn't know of that item so i may consider it if no drilling involved.

Re: Ruger Mark 4
I guess I just don't see the "need" for this product. I have an MK II, MKIII Target and an MKIV .22/45 lite and have no issues using the ears on the rear of the bolt for charging. Do you guys have trouble?

Re: Ruger Mark 4
I have never got pinched but it is a strange action to do compared to a slide

Re: Ruger Mark 4
I've handled Rugers twice at shops, contemplating adding one to the collection & I got bit both times, F that gun.
Tact is just not saying true stuff. I'll pass.
