Have to love Gunbroker. Some idiot outbid me at a price higher than another one was available with a buy-it-now price. So I hit the buy-it-now on that one. Now he has to sweat whether he'll be bid up further over the next 16 hours. What a maroon.

The mega capacity really limits your market.
Shadow 2 is sexy. If I buy another gun in that class it’ll be one of those. My tanfoglio stock 2 meets the criteria and it’s one of the best looking guns out imo
Hmm, I hadn't considered Tanfoglio. I'd prolly prefer SAO, but DA/SA is fine as well.

Looks like an older Tanfoglio Witness long slide.

This conversation is a bit out of my depth, I have never spent this kind of money on a handgun.
Couldn't thou taketh thy $1,600.00, buyeth what thou pleaseth, and just customize the crap out of it?
Meaning, just buy a $500.00 chassis, and then spend another $1,100.00 remaking it to your liking.

Not all 500 dollar guns are as good as a 1600 dollar gun after dumping the money into them. When it’s done you still have a 500 dollar gun.
I started shootjng matches with a Glock 34 that I tuned up just like that. My stock2 is a better gun head to head.

    I hear you.
This really is out of my area, I don't think I have ever spent more than $800 on a handgun, and part of that was getting hosed retail.

If it were me I'd get a standard all steel SP-01, and either send it to Cajun Gun Works for their excellent mods, or have them send me the parts, and do it myself. They are Volquartsen, or Clark of the CZ world. I am no expert, but have owned CZ pistols since 1995, and think they are one of the best out there.

It's a Springfield P9 . this one's in 9x21 , but they have em in 9mm and 40 too IF you can find one . takes regular cz75 9mm magzines.

Mix of CZ and Tangfoglio parts . the frame is tapped for the scope/sight mount on the left side.

I got it with 6 factory mags and 250 rounds of 9x21 for less than a used glock .
