Just looked for more info, and nada. I'd be very surprised if something like that happened at GTC, what with what I've been told is the superb supervision provided by their staff.

lower Southampton police officer & a friend of mine that works at Lee's Hoagies--also haven't found any mention any where else--do they rent guns to one person without them having a gun with them?

They do rent guns, but I don't know what "conditions' have to be met in order to rent.

On their Facebook page, they were offering free rentals this weekend. Perusing their page, I don't see any indication of an incident occurring there.

I was there over the weekend. I politely and quietly asked if there was incident recently.
I was told "We cannot comment on that".
I said... "Sorry to hear it, I would have rather you said 'No.' ".
Not a confirmation, but there is it.
