Its a thompson contender. Yes it is a handgun. It is a single shot. The calibers range from .22 right on through the pistol calibers up to rifle calibers.

Not sure I understand the point of this thread, though, in the first place.
A lot of these questioned can be answered with the search button
    .
The only point is to see peoples opinion on new production guns. Yes it is up to the shooter yes everyone will have there favorite. A lot of questions can be answered through a search here or the internet but that would kinda of defeat the purpose of a forum it is about conversation and opinions. That is teh only point. Just to chat and I have already seen guns I have never seen and others people thoughts.

    my S&W 64-3 4" model

and my Springfield Loaded 1911 in SS
Never shot a revolver well I take that back a 22 in my younger years. How does the experience compare to shout a semi. Putting them on your list I assume accuracy is right up there. How are they different to shoot?

I thought about it more why a couple asked why I posted this thread. One reason other then the ones I gave is to also learn. I am thinking about my next purchase and getting ideas. And I am looking what turned up in the accuracy department for those with much more knowledge then me. I have a good quality 1911 and know the Beretta 9 was looking for ideas on another big caliber other then just a different 1911. Thanks for all those who gave their opinions anymore would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, searching would be a benefit to that, too.
You'll see ideas you never thought of (or asked about), and far more opinions to gather your understanding from.

I've shot plenty of accurate guns I'd never think of buying. It's really meaningless without a context, IMO. Once you give the question some direction, or some criteria (whats the most accurate hi-cap semi? what's the most accurate single action .45? whats the most accurate gun to shoot in IDPA? etc) then you'll get some answers that give you specifics.......until then, all you're gonna get is peoples personal preference, for the most part.

Agreed, the idea was to suggest that there are few examples of more accuracy being required.

Out of all my handguns, the FN five seven is by far the most accurate.
