    Default Magnetic Gun Mounts

Does anyone know of any adverse effects of having a firearm on a magnetic gun mount for a long period of time? It would seem to me that at some point the metal parts of the firearm would start to get magnetized which could cause a problem.

I wouldn't use them for a multitude of reasons. If your man or woman enough to buy a gun carry a gun learn how to shoot a gun in that order or not, then you're man/woman enough to buy, build, borrow, sow, Stitch, steal(just not from me), make, form, print, purchase a PROPER holster and matching cock ring or nipple ring's.

I think he means a wall mount...

I have been thinking about this option for my shotgun in the bedroom. Having a magnet set up in my closet... Never thought about the issue of other parts being magnetized. However a pump shotty I wouldn't think would have much issue.

The gun will get magnetized. Shooting it should remove the residual magnetism. I never tried it, but those are the properties of magnets and steel as I know them to be.

It all depends on the amount of iron/steel/nickel bearing dirt in your environment or how close you get to watches compasses and hard drives. Anybody still use floppies? Zip drives?

Get a cheap holster on Ebay for $5-10. Then all you need are two screws and you can mount your pistol anywhere. Behind some furniture, in your closet, anywhere.

I took a piece of leather and looped it thru the loop where a belt goes. Then attached the ends with two screws so the pistol is mounted horizontally. Or just put the screws thru the holster (its a cheap throwaway anyway).

Strap it in and your pistol is not going anywhere but it is easy to draw instantly with one hand.

I would think that if the magnet was strong enough to hold the gun over bumps, etc that it would not easily release the gun.

For me, it would be a bad idea.

Could I ask you, please? have a personal question: I'd like your thoughts on casinos. Especially about Canadian casinos. I found this river cree resort and casino events, yesterday just here https://www.rivercreetickets.com/, I know that slot machines have always been pure luck and used to always go into the machines to look at what stand and feed so that you could then walk up to it and withdraw everything that was shoved into it. A casino that has a game like dice, if you play adequately you can win quietly, the main thing is to know the measure because in any case this is a casino and sooner or later it will show who the boss is). So, what do you think?

I have one in my closet holding a 18.5” barrel Stoger OU for the last 4 years with zero issues.

They work great and the shotgun works fine.

My memory is a little fuzzy but I seem to recall bulletins in the police barracks warning cops to avoid ever going into MRI areas in hospitals because of magnetic issues?

I'm not stating anything as fact because as I said I just can't remember clearly enough.

That’s because the generated magnetic field is so powerful that it could pull your pistol from its holster or possibly but very unlikely pull the trigger, drop the sear/hammer.

Not going to happen with the magnet gun mount.
