Shortly after it opened about 8-10 years ago the Diner was known for gastrointestinal distress. Lately, I've haven't heard of any cases of food poisoning. The few times I've ate there in the past three years, no problem.

I've been eating burgers, bacon, beans, donuts, and cookies all day at the group shoot. Just stopped and had meatloaf.

I have 2 hours to drive home.

The question is, can I make it without shitting myself or using a public restroom?

I ate a similarly healthy diet at the shoot.

About 2/3 of my way home from the shoot, near Mandata, PA there is a Sunoco station.

I strongly urge all members to NOT use the restroom there for the next week or too. Just sayin'...

There were two and only two things wrong with the event today...

1) Not getting to see Justin's junk.

2) Not getting to meet Noah... pesky clients!

My apologies. Much rather been shooting that what I was doing. Believe me, my heart was not in the work.

The attorney for the plaintiff for whom I'm consulting sends me an E-mail at 1620 yesterday which stated that they (plaintiff and him) needed an affidavit to present to the case judge Monday rebutting the defendant's expert witness's comments regarding an earlier affidavit I had written on behalf of the plaintiff's case. Then the attorney calls not quite two hrs later asking of I saw the E-mail, and saying that since they need the affidavit for Monday, the attorney needed it by 1500 today, preferably, so that he could prepare his say-so for the judge for Monday. So I spend 4.5 hrs plowing through the defendant's idiot "expert's" counterclaims and smokescreening and poking holes in it left and right (he couldn't accurately quote an ASTM standard to save his ass, let alone save the defendant's defense), but the real challenge for the day was finding a open notary public for the affidavit. Lots of graduation parties around here today. So I call around and drove 22 miles to a used car dealer to get the notarization, then back to the office to scan it and E-mail it off. I reminded the plaintiff's attorney Friday evening that my weekend rate was double time ($500/hr vs $250/hr). He said, "No problem." Mileage and $5 notary fee will be added.

Here's the kick in the balls -- The plaintiff and their attorney had the defendant's expert's affidavit for the past three and one-half weeks. Yep, their lack of planning constituted a crisis for me.

Next year maybe pick a Field that's not so damn HOT!!
I wont complain about how far we had to walk to eat all that great FREE food.. because every thing was delicious.. and I had my fill..
