All of the things you mentioned are irrelevant. If I shoot someone it will be to protect myself or a member of my family. I won't give a rat's ass about what the legal repercussions are. If I have to worry if it's legal to shoot then I don't need to be shooting.

What's the Mods' recommendations for fishing bait and lures? I'm pretty much a worm fisherman but use red spinnerbaits for large bass and Northern Pike, both casting and trolling. I have a couple of Rapalas that have served me well too, one is a rather small one called a clownfish, it's orange and yellow and it catches a lot of fish. Sometimes when trolling for lunker pike and walleyes I use a swivel Rapala in the likeness of a perch. What do the Mods recommend?

There's nothing wrong with learning how to operate operationally. Get good at gunfighting. Take classes with different instructors. Figure out what works best for you. If you think you can find one class or instructor who will give you everything you need, then you're looking for a unicorn.
