buyback surrender or be prosecuted
.
Eric Swalwell Unloads Gun Platform Liberals Really Want
Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California wants to ban assault weapons, instate a federal gun buy-back program for those who own them and criminally prosecute those who refuse to hand them over.
The representative wrote an op-ed in USA Today Thursday rolling out what he feels is the gun control policy America should adopt, one that would take “military-style semiautomatic assault weapons” away from law-abiding citizens and threaten them with jail time if they refuse.
“Reinstating the federal assault weapons ban that was in effect from 1994 to 2004 would prohibit manufacture and sales, but it would not affect weapons already possessed.
This would leave millions of assault weapons in our communities for decades to come,” Swalwell wrote.
“Instead, we should ban possession of military-style semiautomatic assault weapons, we should buy back such weapons from all who choose to abide by the law, and we should criminally prosecute any who choose to defy it by keeping their weapons.”
Lawmakers are trying to answer the public calls for legislative fixes to gun violence in the wake of Texas, Nevada and Florida shootings. Responding to those calls, House lawmakers proposed $2.3 billion in March toward funding mental health, additional training, and school safety programs at the Departments of Justice, Education and Health and Human Services.Ecclesiastes 10:2 ...........

Feel free to drop buy in person anytime to try and confiscate my personal and legally obtained property.
Until then please enjoy a hot plate of fresh steaming shit and die.

One step closer to the tipping point. Mass confiscation can only lead to bad things.

While the wolf has thrown off his camo, I'm not ready to panic.
I mean, the dude is from San Francisco. He's more liberal than a Scottish nationalist. Of course he wants your guns. So lets have an Australia type mandatory buyback since its the lowest hanging fruit on the dream tree. Good luck man.
My takeaway is that he's a stalking horse testing the water to see just how out outraged the mainstream of his local party is. I predict we'll see more of his type from ultra liberal Kalifornica.
The only solution is to howl loud and make it clear his views are not acceptable.
Of course we know just how many people will line up to turn over their guns under threat of prosecution....

Re: buyback surrender or be prosecuted
The phrase "buy back" is Orwellian. The US government sells very few firearms.
The idea, I guess, is to put a fig leaf on terrorizing the gun owning public into compliance.
Those who refuse cooperate will be arrested, those who resist arrest will be shot as "dangerous gun owners".
Those who shoot back will become "terrorists".
The real terrorists are gun control freaks like this San Franciscan, who should keep terrorism within the city limits of the City by the Bay, where it belongs. People poop on San Francisco's city streets but their political representatives are worried about firearms that are used in less murders than bare hands or knives?
