As if I needed another reason to hate Dick's....

The Dick's Pittsburgh Marathon is tomorrow. I'm biking around the course (on side streets) to cheer for someone who's handicapped and racing a hand cycle. They have an app that lets you track a runner around the course. I didn't install it because i'd have to give the app permission to suck up my Facebook profile, pictures, friends list, and more. Bastards!

I used to work part time for them.

(back when the towers were still standing) they treated people like shit. cut your shift 5 minutes before it was supposed to start. you know, while you were driving there?

gave new meaning to the phrase "we work for dick's"....wouldn't buy anything from them ever since.
bought very little from them while I was there, or before I worked there. they should go out of business. really.

I don’t know that much about the organization but it does help spread the word about DICKS throughout the shooting community. It would not surprise me if a lot of members of the organization buy their shooting supplies through dicks and this might get the members going elsewhere.
