Re: Swiss Arms 553
There's been an adapter that was recently made, to put STANAG mags in the Swiss patterned receivers.

Re: Swiss Arms 553
So sad to recall when the real - deal Swiss semis were readily available until GeeDubb-1 and his drug czar Bennet fucked us with the 89 ban. So long Swiss, Valmet, Sterling, FN-FALs...
All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

Re: Swiss Arms 553
I can't recall what Sig called all these US market rifles but the first one that looked like a 551 but took AR mags was not very well liked. The 2nd version that took Swiss "rock in" mags was better received but people who had owned the real Swiss one's maintained the NH built ones were noticeably chintzy.
I would have taken either but I'd be more willing to pay for a genuine Swiss one.

Re: Swiss Arms 553
I just blew my gun wad on a machine gun, so the Swiss gun goes back on the backburner for now. I still want one in the future.
Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.
