Scranton Ice Box show
Jaeger Arms show this Saturday and Sunday April 28 and 29, 2018 at the Scranton Ice Box - usually find some deals and never leave empty-handed - hopefully a decent show this weekend 🇺🇸

The last one wasn't bad.
I'll probably go after I go to the Scranton University book sale.

I'll be there, it's a local show and it's close to home.
I always find something to buy, even at this smaller show.
* NOTE *
If you want this gun show to get bigger & better, you have to attend it. With more people thru the venue, more vendors will set-up.

Re: Scranton Ice Box show
I always think Jaeger should place a few more signs near the exits of the highway - hundreds of people drive by hourly and have no idea a gun show is happening in their backyard

I'll probably sweep through there quickly when it opens this morning before going fishing.
I'll be wearing a red wool vest and a gray camo Stihl ball cap. Feel free to say "Hi".Sed ego sum homo indomitus

Re: Scranton Ice Box show
I've never been before. I'm probably going to head down with my father in a little while, see if I can convince him to pick up something to learn on.

The show wasn't bad. I picked up an AK bayonet and some decently priced 38 special ammo.
The guy who wouldn't shut up was a bit annoying.

Re: Scranton Ice Box show
Which guy was that? There were several.
I thought it was a pretty good show overall for a small show. There were some unusual guns that I really had to force myself not to walk out with. I saw another Rossi Model 68 .38 spl, I saw a Taurus revolver in .22WMR with a 3" bbl that was pretty sweet, a couple . 357s that were interesting and a bunch of interesting knives. There was a bunch of AR hardware. But the desperation of the people selling was palpable. Seriously. I never saw people work that hard at a gun show before.
I did walk out with a used but LNIB Cold Steel Master Hunter knife for a half decent price, though. So I'm pretty happy.Sed ego sum homo indomitus

Re: Scranton Ice Box show
Well, got myself a nice rifle there. Great price, too. A Finnish Mosin M91 dated '42 with a cut-down stock for $80. Seller threw in a 20 round packet of 7.62x54r for free. I'm actually slightly impressed. I hadn't expected to find anything.
