Bucks County Turkey???
My son just moved to the New Hope area and I was hoping he & I could do some spring gobbler hunting. Can anyone recommend a place in Bucks County for turkey hunting?? I'm assuming most public land will be crowded. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Bucks County Turkey???
state game lands 157 [haycock mtn] has areas planted for turkey near the old rifle range.
Between there and SGL56 there is a lot of small areas with a lot of different access points.
The game commission's map page is your friend; some of the roads around SGL56 haven't been paved all that long and some still revert to dirt in places and dead end at pedestrian rights of way only....
I know the one small area I tried close to Quakertown was mobbed but I only tried once, I will visit some more areas this year, I spend the first two weekends at camp.
I would think that the weekends would be the worst, try some places on weekdays
