    Default Hunting with "Special Firearms"

I was taking a look at this year's upcoming hunting season on the PAGC website and they have a section for Junior and Senior hunting season. The title says,"DEER, ANTLERLESS SPECIAL FIREARMS (Statewide)".

    What is a "Special Firearm"?

I'm fairly certain it means those people can use firearms that the general hunting populace cannot during that period. For instance, a shotgun or rifle when the rest of us are limited to archery tackle and muzzleloaders during the same time.

It should have another comma or two

    "DEER, ANTLERLESS, SPECIAL, FIREARMS (Statewide)

It's a "special" season, not "special firearms".
