LTCF renewal

I live in Philadelphia and since I’ve heard LTCF renewal can take a long time, I want to apply early so that I get the new one before the old one expires. However, nowhere does it say how early I can apply for renewal. Does anyone know?

I'm not sure how soon one can reaply but I recently got my renewal in just two weeks.

There's no law saying how soon one can reapply. But I'm sure Philly has some rule about it. You'll have to contact them or hopefully someone can chime in here.

Beaver County will not let you renew more then 60 days before expiration date on LTCF.

Pretty sure you can anytime.
Last year mine took about three weeks. Was less than the 45 days though.

Wow, I'm so glad I don't live in Philadelphia. I'm in Allegheny County, renewal was about five minutes.

Tell me about it.I have heard of the wonderful and totally alien to me "in and out"service that residents of other counties experience and enjoy.

It's Pennsylvania's one and only city of the first class, so it has to do things first class. (sarc)

BTW.....having a population of 1 million or more is what makes it first class. Philly is steadily losing population. Keep an eye on its true population...they have reasons to hide the figures if they drop below the million. I think there should be dancing in the streets if they lose first class.
