This is the impression that I have been under.I have purchased more than one AR under such circumstances.

I am not advocating additional restrictions. I replied without passion or prejudice.....for accuracy of the comment and the current state of law.

An AR is no different than any other semiautomatic long gun in firing function...so it shouldn't have special rules because libs are scared about how it looks. There are shotguns that you can inflict a worse wound with than an AR.

They freak out when they see an Airsoft rifle that "looks scary" because it has a grip handle and adjustable stock.

I like the term 'common sense'. I find great joy in reminding people Adolf Hitler and his government felt it was common sense to exterminate over 6 million people and perform grotesque experiments on people 'for the good of the German people'. As far as Wolff is concerned he drinks cool aid from Bloomberg's water cooler. It is my understanding he took large donations from him and the ultimate plan is have a 'Pennsylvania Safe Act' resembling NYS Safe Act but more restrictive. He knew he couldn't do it with the Republicans holding a majority in the house and senate. We can all talk about in here but the ballot box is where we need go. Many gun owners have no clue of what is happening politically in this country. They get their hunting rifle out Sunday before deer season to sight it in. End of shooting for another year. They need us to inform them at some point the Dems and anti's will be after them too. They are chipping away at our rights and the only way to stop it is vote and spread the word.

Common sense to me is allowing anyone access to run folks through NICS so you can have a nice happy transfer that makes everyone happy.

Exactly. That, and let your LTCF be your PICS check. Why call in and overwork the system when my county sheriff has already done so, and even beyond, validation my character as well.

Would you then need to keep a book and do everything that a dealer does if they allowed anyone access to run people through NICS?

What happens twenty years after you legally sold a rifle FTF and it's changed hands a few times? What if something happens with it?
How would you prove when you sold it? You aren't required to keep records at this time. Now it's 20 or 30 years later, something happens and you lost your little hand written note.

I don't know what this new "gun-show exception" is. Is it the "gun-show loophole" just renamed?
Dealers at shows always run NICS. So I'm confused again...

When it comes down to it, The only people who suffer from these gun laws are us law abiding citizens. Drugs are illegal, did it stop drug usage. After all the gun laws put in place, they need to see that it didn't stop anyone from violence. We're slowly losing our rights. i just got done reading an article on medical marijuana cards. if someone applies for one, they can kiss their guns goodbye. PA issued over 10,000. So, how many illegally posess a gun now. Won't be long and anyone on any kind of medication for anything will be banned. Viagra uses better watch out.lol

Common Sense is another term where the majority can take your rights away.
