Re: LIberal Gun Owner
Progressive liberal or a classic liberal? Do you vote for candidates that want to limit or remove your 2A rights? How about those that believe in taxing the poor for the 'right' to own a firearm (Purchase permit, etc.)?
I won't speak for everyone here, but over the last 30 years of elections I've become close to a single issue voter. If you don't put the 2A near the top of your requirements for your elected officials, you may have a hard time here!Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

Re: LIberal Gun Owner
I'm still trying to figure out what problem the OP is trying to solve by having purchasers fill out a questionnaire and get a pamphlet of the laws.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

If you're pro second amendment, but you think the government should impose arbitrary conditions before allowing firearm purchases, and you're pro second amendment but maybe you'd prefer people not be allowed to have the extra dangerous super scary ones, are you really pro second amendment?

Re: LIberal Gun Owner
It is ok that you disagree. To me, government (in the way it "should" be run) is fire departments, police departments, etc. It should be a collective agreement on kicking in for the good of the community. The military is part of the government. I think protecting business from poisoning the water is a government job.
But I get it. And I'll listen to what you guys say.
And I agree with a lot of what you are saying. You can't legislate ideas. The "wars on (insert whatever here) are always a haox. I wonder what we agree on?
Regardless.. I really came to this forum to learn more about where to shop, how to become a better shot, how to know how to best know the law if I need to protect myself.
You guys will either let me stay and talk about those things.. or you won't.
