And the same for speech and voting, Correct??
Those are rights that need limiting way more than the 20,000+ firearm regulations currently on the books..
You might want to start by not voting for those that want to remove the "Right to Keep & Bear Arms" from us peasants

As with anything, it always depends on the issue at hand.

I am so far to the left on some subjects that I've circled the globe and show up on the far right. And vice-versa.

Example - Abortion - yes, up to a certain term. And even then, maybe longer if it was a rape, is the child viable in the late stages, etc. Some folks just are not ready for the responsibilities of parenting - witness the end of the US civilization as we have known it up to now.

(Speaking of late stages, seen plenty of youngsters whose parents should still be allowed to abort them. Wish Hogg's mom could be convinced to abort Davey.)

In seriousness, a pregnant gal should at least be offered free counseling as abortion is final.

As for the 2A - anything goes short of nuclear. If I can surf porn, read Hustler, read NatGeo, watch Samantha Bee-otch under the 1A protections - I ought to be able to snag a Beretta Modelo 21.
All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

WORDS DEFINE THE ARGUMENT. The Left knows this and the act accordingly. Please, let us do likewise.

Language shifts as we use it. The meaning of terms change, especially in the communication age we are in.

Gay is a word that got hijacked by homosexuals.
Liberal is a word that has been hijacked by leftist fanatics.

I now reject usage of the term "Liberal" to describe control-freak, big-state, tax and spend politicians and the activists and voters that support them.
"Leftist" is a more accurate term and I encourage all of yinz to adopt its usage.

Socialist scum and Commie sympathizer may be more accurate in describing many people, and I encourage accuracy and precision in language as well as shooting.

Note: the OP may or may not be a leftist. I don't know, so no label applied by markshere2.

Bogey1.. I totally agree with you. I think if you read earlier.. I (PERSONALLY) know that gun deaths are reduced most by trying to stop suicides, but the only proven solution to gun violence is reducing poverty. I agree that there are no gun laws that have reduced gun crime. The nations that have reduced violent gun crime by laws outlawed all guns and the citizens voluntarily gave up their guns. That is great--- but I don't think that Americans are interested in that, so it would never work. It is like outlawing twinkies to reduce obesity but allowing everything else. Or --- like the UK and Canada and Germany... people just start using trucks and cars to run people over.

And I am not the only liberal that thinks that way. But yes-- there are very LOUD extreme (and uninformed) liberals (just like there are uninformed conservatives) who get a lot of press.
So you lied on the form about being handed a pamphlet?
