I've open carried for years everywhere I go. Recently I've been cc-ing (for various reasons).

Out food shopping with wife and kid. An older man with a Navy jacket came up to me and said: "I've seen you here on Sunday's, and you're not carrying; did it scare the snowflakes?" I laughed and said I have my Beretta .40 S&W in my pocket.

Talked a little about guns, and then parted ways.

Good open carry encounter, without even open carrying.

I have a coworker who is an avid gun collector and range denizen.I have tried numerous times to get him to check out pafoa but he is just not into forums.

Maybe we should start running a raffle every 3 or 4 months like other places do.
$5 per ticket, winner gets a pistol or rifle from an associated shop or FFL.
Additional proceeds donated to a 2A rights group.
Would probably bring in more people.
Could be connected to a letter drive to contact politicians about gun rights issues.
Could be run by users and not officially connected to PAFOA.
