    But the media told me that everyone can get guns without background checks as fast as it takes to get through the mcdonalds drive-through!

    The last gun show I was at, there was one guy walking around with a rifle slung over his back with a "for sale" sign in it. The often-cited "gun show loophole" in action. It was the infamous, ferocious, shortER-barrel version of the.... Mosin Nagant.

    I*ve bought a fair number of rifles from private sellers with no background checks. Some asked for my license, some did not. Some wanted a bill of sale, some did not.

    FFLs are required to run checks. But for now at least, there are sales with no background checks in PA.
