He also just claimed that he is an undocumented alien and taunted the feds to deport him.

Similar experience. California actually does that, impose a California insurance regulation and then make its application nationwide as a condition of doing business in California. While they can regulate as they wish in California, to impose it everywhere regardless of merit, cost or expense, is absurd. But California fancies that it is such a privilege to do business there, you will take whatever they will force down your throat for the privilege. Most companies swallow it.
I think Cuomo has cooked up something more nefarious and is waiting for the right time to unleash it.

Doubt it. Kimber is expanding in Alabama, but that is strictly for business reasons. The company has never really complained about NY's infringements. Kimber is largely unaffected by them. They had no problems with the original 7-round capacity limitation in the original Safe Act because it fit neatly into their 1911 product line (while hurting Kimber's competitors). They only make bolt actions. Once again, the Safe Act helps protect their rifle sales market in NY by making semi-auto rifles harder to acquire and always being at risk for post hoc bans. No complaints from Kimber there. It won't be until NY bans semi auto pistols and declares bolt action rifles with scopes to be banned "sniper rifles" that they will, maybe, criticize Cuomo and his NY Democrat anti-constitution drones. To me, Kimber is basically the Elmer Fudd of the firearms industry.

Re: Cuomo threatens banks, ins co's over guns
He and Clinton tried this crap with the Smith and Wesson blackmail lawsuit. The gun owners won.
The drug control lobby has been hard at work since 1970 trying to crush "drug use". About one in seven Americans use street drugs. Forty years after the "War on Drugs" began people can still buy illegal drugs. A few States declared victory and then surrendered to weed since that time.
One in three Americans own firearms. We have a lot of money. We are very self disciplined and self controlled as a group (check the stats on Concealed Carry Permit holders).
Mr. Cuomo does not quite understand how influential we can be.... even in New York State.
If a "War on Guns" goes down some of us may end up dead or in jail. It's not practical to put one in three people in jail. Quite a few will surrender, and then will get some sort of payback. Revenge of some sort is natural if people feel wronged, and having property stolen from them, being declared outcast, is wronging them.Last edited by GeneCC; April 19th, 2018 at 09:39 PM.

Cuomo needs to be out. I'd love to see every gun make in NY leave and every gun and ammo company not sell or support any products to NY government agencies.
