It sounds like the only reason she wasnt charged with a crime is because none of the criminals came forward to report her. That didn't keep the police from confiscating her means of defense though.

If the scumbags come back she can just engage in hand to hand with the knife and the fucking torch. Ridiculous people over there.

According the Brit press, prohibition of crossbows is next on the agenda to be banned.

I'd say holy crap about how the police reacted, but I'm only surprised they didn't charge her for admitting she defended herself.

Beyond sad. They'll charge you in a heartbeat for saying offensive words, singing an offensive song, or making a post on social media that bothers someone, but a criminal who committing a violent act is given a pass other than being charged and released.
