Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated

I just saw this on York 43 news and confirmed it on the Attorney General's web site. As of May 16, 2018, PA is terminating the reciprocity agreement with Virginia. Luckily it is possible to get a non-resident carry permit from Virginia by mail. Just wanted to spread the news so all of you can watch your step until you can get a Virginia permit.

Well it looks like my non resident FL permit will still cover me in VA but this crap still pisses me off! We are doing way to much backsliding these day's.

So what happens now. I am sure in a week or two SOMEONE from Pa will be stopped in Va carrying. Will they be instantly be arrested charged with a felony?

Will they actually be convicted and go to jail?

Virginia honors all other states permits, so it only affects Va residents visiting PA.
It sucks, and it needs to stop, but at least obtaining a LTCF is cheap and easy, and a Va permit will still allow vehicle carry into Pa when obtaining a non res. LTCF.

Sorry Virginia we suck.

It's Pennsylvania not honoring VA permits, Virginia will continue to recognize PA permits.
