I expect the Va. AG will be issuing a similar memo shortly about Pa. residents.

Beginning April 16, 2018 PA Will Only Honor Resident Permits From the States They Honor.

Guess I'm back to open carrying the P30.

Perhaps this info needs to be fancy tagged on the front page someplace?

Sorry. It looks like we are out of luck until Pennsylvania gets a pro-gun attorney general again. I had a bad feeling that they were going to clamp down on the New Hampshire nonresident permit.

It makes you wonder how Trump won a majority of the votes and this POS AG also won in the same election..

Just to add my 2 cents, I would see numerous posted emails on the NJ gun forums saying they contacted the PA AG to see if their NH non-resident permits were valid in PA. Why in the world would people do that? You're asking for trouble and in the AG's mind, he feels you're "getting one over" on him. Please people, don't do that anymore....

Yep, that could be partially to blame. You NEVER, fucking EVER, ask the "law" what is legal. Odds are you will get the wrong answer, and if there is a "loophole" - you just let them know to focus on it.

I totally agree with you, especially after what happened to the nonresident Arizona, Utah, Virginia, and Florida permits in Pennsylvania. I know the reasons were a little different then, but giving anti-gun folks another opportunity to screw over law abiding citizens is just bad.

I wrote a long letter to my state rep yesterday and asked him why 1 individual was given the power to infringe on so many peoples constitutional rights, pointing out jailbird kathleen kane terminated some of these agreements too

VA AG has no authority to do so - it would require legislation since under VA statute § 18.2-308.014 Pa and most other state licenses are recognized without any reciprocal agreements.
