Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
For those thinking of getting a non-resident permit;
Nonresident Concealed Handgun Permits
** Due to a high volume of applications, the current processing time for nonresident concealed handgun permits is 3 to 6 months.**

The other difference between res. and non-res., is the fingerprint card for non-res. (unless I missed that on the other page. )

Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
I stand corrected as of now...
https://www.attorneygeneral.gov/taki...ty-agreements/
http://handgunlaw.us/states/pennsylvania.pdf
Beginning April 16, 2018 PA Will Only Honor Resident Permits From the States They Honor.
Guess I'm back to open carrying the P30.
Perhaps this info needs to be fancy tagged on the front page someplace?

Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
".....The Commonwealth has added two recognized states – Idaho and Alabama – and will remove one state, Virginia, after 30-days’ written notice, because its background check requirements are weaker than Pennsylvania’s....."
In light of this BS statement A Reps are reviewing numerous laws in committee? On one hand our checks are "stringent and thorough" when it's used as an excuse to screw over gun owners and on the other hand "it doesn't go far enough"? I'm just about had enough of this attack on innocent gun owners...
BTW, what is "different" from PA and VA gun owner checks? My goodness, VA has extensive checks and [even] requires firearms training---
