Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
Virginia honors all states carry permits even if those states don't honor Virginia permits. That law was passed 2 years ago.

Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
Just in case...
NH's non-resident is valid in VA. Send in your $100 with the form, wait a couple weeks, and you'll get it in the mail.

Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
To the best of my recollection the process is similar to getting a non-resident Florida license. It's a little pricey but it's worth it to me. Luckily I've had one for several years now. It beats trying to explain by the side of the road at night how VA is supposed to honor a PA LTCF when PA won't recognize a VA permit, and the whole concept of reciprocity.

Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
I honor the second amendment and send people on their way. Yes even without a "permit". Been there don't that!

Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
This whole episode reinforces my belief that you should obtain a non-resident carry permit from every state you do a lot of traveling in, if one is available. It can save a lot of potential grief.

Re: Reciprocity Agreement with Virginia terminated
What BS. Didn't PA just restore reciprocity, like two years ago? Both my kids live there, since that was where they grew up, and moved back to. I only visit once or twice a year, so no big deal, I guess. Getting too old for that drive, and the damn turnpike costs, which have gotten outrageous.

What does the AG have against Virginia residents? This makes no sense.
