    Default After Market Glock Mags

Is there a decent after market Glock mag? I've been looking at SGM Tactical but have no experience with them or any other brand. OEMs are expensive, just looking for a couple of mags for range use only.

    Thanks!

What Glock model mag's are you looking for and do you want standard factory capacity for that pistol?

Pretty much any Factory Glock 9mm or .40 mag can be easily found for around $20-$22.00 each new, not real pricey as far as factory mag's go.

I have had very good luck with metal lined KCI (Korean mags) for the Model 19 and 17, I also have 1 33 round Korean that works fine in my pistols but will not lock into my 9mm AK. Factory G18 mags lock in just fine.

I have had mixed success with Magpul's offerings in the 17, and 21 round flavors. Some cause malfunctions in my 19 and 17 especially when combining them with steel or aluminum cased ammunition, my cousins G19 choked in a competition twice last year using their mags while running brass. I can run both steel and aluminum with zero issues using Factory or Korean mag's. As much as I love Magpul I am less them impressed with their Glock offerings. ETS and SGM are either run or don't run when you compare all the different experiences people have out there. Some love them some hate them, it's a crap shoot.

Personally I stick to factory mags it's not worth the $5 or $6 in savings. If your going the 33 round mag route then I would order one of whatever brand and see how it works with your specific pistol, if it does then grab more if not then try something else. I purchased all my OEM Glock 18 33 round mags for $30.00 each with free shipping and haven't had a single issue with any of them.

    Late note:
I forgot to add that the Magpul 17 round mags completely choke in my G26 after two or three rounds regardless of the ammunition used.

CDNN has most factory mag's on sale for $21.99 ea right now.

Botech has G18 mags 3 for $89.99 shipped however they are out of stock right now, they run that deal often so they should come back fairly soon.

Natchez has several factory options for $19.99 ea right now.

    Thanks guys,

I'm looking for two G21 13 round mags. And I usually go for the OEM, was just looking to save a few bucks. But if they're junk I guess I haven't saved any money. Lone Wolf has the aftermarket one for 17 and the OEM for 27. I should just "cry once" .

I have not seen any.aftermarket mags for .45 (yet). My experiences with 9mm kci have been good, but I replaced the springs and floorplates with glock products. Sofar my ets mags for the glock 26 have worked well. My brother has had good experiences with magpuls for the glock 19.
