I have no idea on this part, but like every one who builds a pistol have one of these shockwave blade on it , guess we are good ?

By this it looks like they don't consider the brace to be part of the pistol. It has to be temporarily installed as an accessory, not permanently attached.
That's why you have to remove the muzzle device. It would be better if you had a letter from the atf.
You even have to worry about LOP ...
The only way to know for sure would be to ask them the correct way to measure an AR pistol with a brace.

There are a kajillion rules and regulations about pistols and rifles and SBRs oh my.

Being within the law by a tiny little hair on every single rule is legal.

    BUT

If Officer Friendly or Agent Dick sees your pride and joy and thinks you have a problem, you are going to have a problem.

You are gonna spend $ and time and worry defending yourself against their " mistake" that you actually helped create by making something that looks like something it is not.

    Pick your battles, says I.

If being "tacticool" is important to you, fine - have a nut. But please spare us the drama when you wind up defending yourself in court because you got very close to the lines.

Much of .GOV and the Law enforcement establishment hates us because we insist on keeping our rights.

And yes I have AR pistols.
