    Sorry bang about the thread derail. Crack will do that to your life.

    My go to for really bad fouling is Butches bore shine. It stinks like hell but it works great.

    I honestly don't know first hand but I'm thinking that the heat is nowhere near the copper coated Scotch pads.

    Old style car antennas and rubber band worked well. For the crack heads not the lead fouling. I used to see them build little shelters out of boxes and stick there heads in them to get more smoke and less wind.
    Some people just plain suck.

    Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for this stuff for a good long while. Couldn't ever remember the name. Always called it "that Slinky gun cleaning stuff". My dad had some many many moons ago, and it always worked really well for removing rust and cleaning barrels.
