    No idea. I know that guests can post (although I'm not sure if they can do so in all subforums), but I've never seen a member's status change to "guest".

    Best guess is that he requested to no longer be a member and it was granted, but I've never seen that done before - at least not while I was a moderator. We just told crybabies "If you don't want to be here, don't post".

    as far as crapping onnew members with easily answered questions and no sense of humor, this was a mld thread and not very crappy.
    he got good answers and someone memed him then poof gone.

    I didn't understand the original charges but op might have a chronic humor disorder?
