My very strong suggestion is to call or text 10 fellow gun owners today and make it as easy as possible for them to do something about this... give them a legislator's email address or phone number.

The legislators from the urban areas are the most vocal overall and are often very ill-informed, anxious to blindly "copy" crappy laws from other states just to say that they did something.

Exactly. One of the plays from the anti-gun playbook is that they'll call in and say they're from the legislator's district, even going so far as to provide the name and address of someone who is if they're asked. Based on my experience, volume of phone calls count way more than emails.

When we lived in NJ and had an issue with the school the school board ACTUALLY let the non-citizens speak up first at the meeting. They "swallowed" up the first hour or so with people that weren't even from the state. Their excuse? It affects them too....BS!!

I just lost a friend over this. I try to keep people with different opinions and ideals as friends, but one crossed the line today. Yes, he's extremely anti-gun, and I know some would write him off on that alone, but I tolerated his existence because we spent time in the Navy together. However, on the FOAC FB page, I posted on a similar thread to this, and he chimed in that he did the opposite, he wrote to support all of these measures. 1) He lives in Oregon. 2) Why is he following FOAC? 3) Why does he think he gets a say in PA gun rights?

I said fuck it and flushed him out of my life.
