    Default Roland Special Glock19

Anyone have one? I was bored with the day to day buying of guns and building ar15s so I decided I’d start building a Glock. I started down the road of building my version of a Roland special.

Anyone else done this or bought one? I realize it’s not for everyone.

    For those curious.

And the reason I chose to do it my way

    Sorry. Disappointing.

Here I though it was a Glock chambered in 460 Rowland. That had me in suspense.

I have never even seen one, until that article. While it is interesting its not for me. For the serious 3 gunner or Military it make sense to drop $2300 on one pistol. On Friday I saw a 19X in the Poconos. The 19X could be come a future purchase.

Itsbat a disadvantage for three gun because it’s compensated. Puts it into open class. I just did it to be different. I believe that price doesn’t count the cost of the gun either.

I may do a 19x at some point Too. Although this is fairly similar as the comp gives it the same length as a Glock 34.

I wouldn't call what i am doing a roland special but i just added a tbrci comp to one of my polyermer 80 builds. used an alpha shooting marksman slide and faxon barrel. so far i have only tested 100 rounds of 115g ammo thru it and the ejection is extremely weak. i have a 15 & 13 lb recoil springs on order. i know your suppose to use hotter ammo but i just built this for a range toy so i prefer to use the cheapest ammo possible.

A true roland special is not practical for my needs since i couldn't carry it with my build and i don't think i would even if i could. as a home defense gun it's too dam loud
