No...They're not on drugs, they know exactly what they're doing---- this is calculated propaganda to disarm the good citizens of this country because to tyranny, we are the threat.

There is no rational sense in which "military arms" are unsuitable for "militia" use. The Court implied as much in the 1938 Miller case.

Saying that we have the right to defend ourselves, but not with dangerous weapons, is Orwellian.

In the original Miller vs US the majority said that Sawed Off shotguns were not in common militia use. The Court then refused to rule on common militia arms, including selective fire weapons.

As long as we play in the Progressive's sandbox we're going to lose.

We have to repeal these idiotic laws in the Legislatures.

Before anyone objects - we had Prohibition. We don't today and we did not need a Civil War to accomplish its repeal.

Judge: Assault weapons ban doesn't violate 2nd Amendment.

BOSTON (AP) — A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit challenging Massachusetts' ban on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines, saying in a ruling released Friday that the weapons fall beyond the reach of the Second Amendment.

U.S. District Judge William Young said assault weapons are military firearms and aren't protected by the constitutional right to "bear arms." Regulation of the weapons is a matter of policy, not for the courts, he said.

"Other states are equally free to leave them unregulated and available to their law-abiding citizens," Young said. "These policy matters are simply not of constitutional moment. Americans are not afraid of bumptious, raucous and robust debate about these matters. We call it democracy."

I think that the ultimate goal is to pervert the Right to Keep and Bear Arms into the privilege to own Sporting Equipment.

yes, i recently traveled (legally) from our state into a state that does not require a license or registration of my small craft and decided to take a nice day of floating rifle cleaning. unfortunately it was a total loss and i managed only to return with the small craft.

Edit: damn, then i'd need to file a claim with my nra loss insurance. do they cover boating accidents?

Here is a good video from Adam Kraut discussing and breaking down this decision.
At the end he also mentions the Harrisburg Rally on the 30th and that they will be there.
