Fox New Poll: Voters favor gun control
It's a couple weeks old, but the numbers are unsettling. We all know about polls, but the fact that this is on Fox made it a bit noteworthy to me.
Some highlights:
By a 13-point margin, voters consider protecting against gun violence more important than protecting gun rights (53-40 percent).

Some 38 percent say it is “extremely” important for Congress to pass gun legislation this year, but only 7 percent think that’s “extremely” likely to happen.

What is a mental health check? A bureaucrat psychologist that you must get an evaluation from on your dime to prove you're not crazy and they have the final say on a firearm purchase? No thanks.
Restricting someone who's been through due process and found mentally defective? Sure. Oh wait that's already law. HOW BOUT WE JUST ENFORCE IT.

Re: Fox New Poll: Voters favor gun control
84% want mental health checks? I am pretty confident there is more than 16% of people who could not pass a mental health check. Over 50% of registered voters who voted did so for Hillary after all. And many of them wanted Bernie. Proof of delusional insanity.

Raise the age to enlist to 21 too.
While we're at it...let's make unreasonable requirements to be a politician as well. We all know most of them are bat shit crazy.

Re: Fox New Poll: Voters favor gun control
The Fox News poll is based on landline and cellphone interviews with 1,014 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from March 18-21, 2018. The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points for all registered voters.
A poll question of "Do you support lowering the age of consent for sexual activity to age 10?" was posed to random members of North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). The poll results indicate that 100% of random members support this, with an error rate of +/- 0f 3%. /SARC
Polling indicates that Donald Trump has no chance of beating Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential elections.
FOX News is owned and run by the Murdoch's. This isn't the Fox News of five years ago. Ideology over Money.

America must suffer until it reaches the point that Liberty is more important than Comforts.

Re: Fox New Poll: Voters favor gun control
Raising the age to buy a gun would be super OK with me if they also made 21 the age to vote, enlist, drive, buy liquor and tobacco and be the cutoff to trigger statutory rape and child porn laws.
