    Default Palmetto State PA10

I am considering an upper and lower in .308 from Palmetto State

An Upper and lower on sale now is $550. I'm looking for a plinker but would like a reliable firearm.

I was considering an Armalite but actually know nothing about AR10 style rifles.

I have shopped Palmetto quite a few times and have been happy with service and products.

I'll likely put an optic on it.

PSA Gen2 PA-10 MOE EPT Lower With Overmolded Grip - 516446483

$ 199.99 coupled with PSA Gen2 PA10 18" Midlength Stainless Steel .308 WIN 1:10 Upper With BCG and CH -

    Any feedback on these?

Thanks. I'll probably give the FR8 a rest if I get this.

    Thank you.
    Yes. I know. Search function.

They state that purchase of their gen 2 upper should also be mated to a gen 2 lower or words to that effect.

    I'll probly order them tomorrow.
I was looking to stay in the 1200 to 1500 range but saw this ad.
It will be a plinker unless it surprises me. If it does, ill.try hunting with it. Semis next year , right?
Besides, I have a few K of .308 and only a bolt gun to shoot them out of. It's almost like I HAVE to get one.

    How'd that for reasoning?

I bought a DPMS Oracle off of a forum member here for $550. It was a decent gun and shot well. No issues in about 1k rounds.

I upgraded to a National Match Armalite. Its just bad ass.

I haven't made time to shoot my PA10 yet that's posted in the earlier thread, since that's just around the time my fistula opened up and I've either been having surgeries or healing up from them since then. Soon though, soon!

I just found out my friend in Indiana got one of these.
He said he changed the gas block and extractor spring after hearing that this setup.had extraction problems.

    Ok.
    I believe I'm sold. Time will.tell I suppose.

Ha. I have one round now. I'll probly be buying some for the machine gun shoot in May.
I have already bought ammo before having a gun to shoot it in.

I'd go with an SR25/DPMS pattern over the Armalite pattern for the mags alone. There are more parts for the SR25/DPMS patterned rifles, which means you will have more support.

The PA10 Gen 1 had issues, but the Gen 2 should be GTG.
