    Default M&P 380 Shield EZ

Didn't even hear about this one coming out. My gunshop has them. Interesting for the Mrs. She struggles racking the slide on a semi and the EZ is suppose to designate the ease of racking the slide on this one. 8+1 capacity not bad. Grip safety on a shield - hmmmm.

Bought one weeks ago. Ha ha.

Seriously, it's nice. The rear of the slide has little wings further enhancing rack ability. The let down, the combo of the trigger pull and the grip safety makes it hard to make it fire for the grip strength compromised hand. When my left wrist is enflamed I have a hard time compressing that safety one handed. Now that's not just a weak grip but rather a painful arthritic grip. Thank God I have good days where it's like good as new.

The LC 380 is an E-Z racker also.

Masturbate using the other hand for a change.

    Cool.
I think that it's a bit large and I think most anyone could shoot 9mm from something of that size, but hey, everyone is different.
Some people think a 380 "kicks less" just because the rounds are smaller than 9mm. Whatever - I guess this gun is perfect for them.

The flared end of the slide is something that should have been done on all handguns long ago.
I like the idea of a grip safety (and the manual safety is pointless with a grip safety), but I'm not sure I'd like how it feels. No way to know without trying it.

    Interesting handgun for sure.

Interesting to see the backstrap safety. I have not seen that before on the M&P series.

Never been a fan of backstrap safteys ! You can use a slip on grip from hougue that will keep it engaged and not think about how to grip the firearm and be sure it is depressed ! One big reason why I never liked Springfield Armory guns made in Croatia !

It's the drop safety for this model since it's internally hammer fired not striker fired.

Grip safety must be governed by a spring. How about lightening the spring.
