Default PA Semi-Auto Ban/Assault Weapons Ban

I'm very confused guys. Please help me understand

If this god-for-bid ban goes into law.

Question1- will I only be able to carry revolvers?

Question 2- will I have to sell my shotgun to a gun shop

Question 3- so as long as I stick to revolvers I won't be breaking the law?

First off: a complete semi auto ban has a snowball's chance in hell of actually being approved. This isn't Australia or the UK where only a tiny population own semi-autos.

Secondly: you have to look at the details of any bills put forth in order to see what it is saying they are targeting for ban/restriction. The dimocrat legislators who are proposing bans generally have the "good gun-bad gun" mentality. They'd happily take your AR, but think that something like a Remington Model 1100 is somehow safer from misuse.

So my answer is no: don't get your panties in a twist just yet as none of your worries need to be answered as such. Become informed about pending legislation and then pester the hell out of your reps if you see something stupid being proposed.

90 percent of the times these bills come about just so they can say "see we tried".
